Lincoln has introduced its new LFC 5000 Fluid Inventory Control & Management System. Designed to accurately track the use of fluids, oils and greases in vehicle maintenance facilities, the versatile LFC 5000 combines the dependability of a wired system with the benefits of one that is wireless to meet the requirements of any location.

Wired, Wireless or Both
The LFC 5000 is a versatile system that can adapt to any location. The popular wireless network is a great tool that maximizes installation savings due to reduced component and labor requirements. However, if the building has trouble housing a wireless system, the LFC 5000 can be partially wired or even totally wired to overcome wireless barriers.

Every LFC 5000 system is hard wired from the dispense point to the dispense unit. Wireless capabilities exist from the dispense unit to the keypad to the PC. Lincoln utilizes WiFi as the wireless protocol (80211.b) which is a fast and mature protocol that easily integrates into a wired Ethernet network.
